      WHO WE ARE

      The Elkhart Area Career Center (EACC) was started in 1972 and serves juniors and seniors from twelve Indiana school districts and one Michigan school district, totaling sixteen public and private high schools. Traditionally, over 1000 high school students enroll in half-day programs at EACC. Students are able to gain real experience and earn college credits through Ivy Tech Community College and Vincennes University that can be transferred to other colleges and universities. Opportunities for juniors and seniors at EACC are unmatched anywhere else in the area!

      Programs

      We currently offer one dual-credit course: ENGL 111 College Writing. This course gives students the opportunity to earn 3 tuition-free credit hours through Ivy Tech Community College, which can be transferred to any public college in Indiana and Southwestern Michigan College.

      Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the last 50 minutes of program sessions for the entire school year.
